How is a vascetomy (vasectemy) made?First, the hair is removed and the doctor injects a local anesthetic. Then, two small cuts are made by the scrotums and from there the tubes are lifted out. Both of the tubes are being cut and sometimes a small piece of each are removed. After that the cuts are sealed with electric current and the openings in the scrotum sealed with small stitches. After resting for about half an hour you can go home. Different types of VasectomiesThere are different ways of doing a vascetomy. In one of them, a scalpel is not used. This visectomy method was developed in China. After injection of the anesthetic the doctor pierce the skin by the scrotum with a sharp instrument. Then the opening is stretched so that the tubes can be reached and blocked. There is no need of making any stitches to seal the opening, the opening is too small. This kind of vasectemy gives fewer complications and there is less blood. One-third of all vasectomies in the U.S is made this way. How does a visectomy (vasectamy) work? The vasectamy implies the tubes being blocked so the sperm cannot mix with the semen. If there is no sperm in the semen the woman can not become pregnant. After a vasectomy the man still has erections and ejaculates. The amount of fluid in the ejaculates is no different from before. The fluid still smells and looks like before and the man’s beard, voice or hormones will not change. The ability to have sex is the same; the only difference is that he cannot make a woman pregnant after a vasectomy. Vascetomy reversals and pregnancyA vascetomy reversal is no guarantee for pregnancy. The reverse operation can only be done in some cases and with limited success rate. |
